Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects. Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of the project from start to finish, ensuring that it is completed on time and within budget.

You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success. This includes developing and managing project schedules, leading and motivating project teams, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout the project.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. You will also prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and control expenditure to prevent overruns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules.
  • Lead and motivate project teams.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets.
  • Monitor costs and control expenditure.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 7 years' experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment. You will also require proven experience in managing large-scale, complex construction projects across various sectors.

A strong knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation is essential. Additionally, you will need excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field are also desirable. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) is also beneficial.
