Job Description

The Project Manager oversees the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to successful completion and commissioning. Key responsibilities include delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting specifications.

Construction management involves supervising construction, completion, and handover of building works in accordance with quality and specifications defined in individual contracts. This includes ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and professional norms.

The Project Manager is also responsible for overseeing delivery around schedule, interface, cost, variations, contract, and risk. Regular liaison with team members and functions is necessary to achieve project goals.

Project Management Activities
  • Issuing and awarding tender contracts, including evaluation and presentation to senior management.
  • Leading coordination of the project, considering interfaces at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Maintaining the Responsible/Accountable/Consulted/Informed task tracker.
  • Coordinating and managing design consultants and external service providers.
  • Organizing design review meetings and communicating design acceptance to contractors.
Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual with a minimum of 12 years' experience in the Construction/Infrastructure sector. Relevant aviation experience is beneficial but not essential.

A strong background in E-Tenders requirements and procurement knowledge is required. Experience of operating on-site, not just office-based, is also necessary. Documenting best practice construction project management policies and standards is a key aspect of this role.

A proven track record of delivering construction/asset delivery projects to time and within allocated budget is essential. Knowledge of operating as a client's project manager and experience dealing with various stakeholders are also required.

Fully proficient in Microsoft Office, BIM, SharePoint, and database management is necessary. Good understanding of construction projects and documentation involved is also required.
