About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Operations Manager to join our dynamic parts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our high-volume Parts Department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Support the Parts Manager in driving departmental performance, implementing process improvements, and ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor Parts Advisors and Senior Parts Advisors, providing day-to-day guidance, motivation, and support to ensure they meet their targets and deliver exceptional service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers (retail, trade, and internal workshop) are served promptly, professionally, and courteously, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor Vehicle Health Checks to ensure required parts are identified, priced, and quoted in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
  • Distribution and Logistics: Oversee the accurate picking, packing, and distribution of parts to technicians and customers, ensuring minimal delays and efficient use of resources.
  • Performance Reporting: Assist the Parts Manager with performance reporting, including relevant KPIs, sales tracking, and stock analysis to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • A strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data; and
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
