You will be part of a dedicated claims handling team, dealing with liability claims from initial registration to settlement.
The role involves managing a portfolio of Motor Liability, Employer Liability, Public Liability injury/damage and Personal Accident claims.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide initial telephone contact for customers in a professional manner.
- Capture all necessary information at the notification stage in a comprehensive and accurate way.
- Make informed decisions on claim outcomes at an early stage.
- Identify opportunities for direct settlement with claimants or their representatives.
- Manage claims within the Injuries Board process and those that proceed to Litigation.
- Hold relevant qualifications in insurance, including APA certification.
- Have minimum 2 years experience in handling similar claims portfolios.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills and technical knowledge of liability claims handling.
