Senior Mechanical Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to lead our team in the design, delivery, and technical management of industrial chimney and flue systems for HVAC applications within large-scale data centre projects across Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the engineering design and technical delivery of industrial chimney and flue systems for HVAC applications.
  • Manage project lifecycle phases including feasibility studies, design development, procurement support, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, site supervisors, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and health & safety requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering challenges on-site, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in HVAC or mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on industrial flue/chimney systems.
  • Proven track record working on large-scale construction or data centre projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ventilation, exhaust systems, and fluid dynamics.
  • Familiarity with Irish building regulations, international HVAC standards, and safety codes.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly to Dublin project sites.
