Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to lead a team in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute maintenance activities on electrical equipment, including instrumentation and PLCs, to ensure plant reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks on the PEMAC system.
  • Assign and monitor maintenance activities for team members on the PEMAC system.
  • Communicate effectively with the maintenance planner on PMs, near misses, and backlog jobs.
  • Ensure effective completion and ongoing review of planned equipment maintenance routines on PEMAC.
  • Train maintenance electricians on electrical equipment and instrumentation, improving team systematic fault finding skills.
  • Minimize downtime through fast response, effective root cause analysis, and good problem solving techniques.
Requirements:
  • Time served Electrician with QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of switchgear, MCC controls, relay logic, AC, and DC voltage systems.
  • High-level diagnostic and problem-solving skills in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical process plant and associated maintenance activities with the wastewater industry.
  • 5+ years' experience in an industrial environment.
  • Demonstrate detailed understanding of H&S statutory requirements, responsibilities, and obligations.
