About the Role:
Our client is seeking a senior leader to head and grow their Personal Lines division. This strategic role offers the opportunity to shape business direction, oversee performance, and manage a high-performing team while driving business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Personal Lines team, ensuring strong performance, compliance, and exceptional client service.
- Oversee all aspects of the Personal Lines portfolio, including motor, home, travel, and other consumer products.
- Develop and deliver growth strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, negotiating terms and agreements that benefit clients and the business.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold the highest professional standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, technology adoption, and client engagement.
- Report to senior management on performance, market trends, and business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in Personal Lines within an insurance brokerage or insurer.
- CIP or APA Qualified in General Insurance, with at least 3 years experience in a Minimum Competence Code Controlled Function CF1 or CF7 role.
- 3+ years of management experience in the insurance industry.
- Strong leadership, client relationship, and change management skills.
- Commercially focused with the ability to deliver results.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Irish insurance market and regulatory environment.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage day-to-day operations.
