Job Overview

The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in injection moulding and be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Engineering/Production department to enhance product manufacturing and develop optimum molding processes, tooling, and automation that meet customer requirements.
  • Introducing new products into our company and compiling standard specifications for each process, monitoring production to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Coordinating documentation development in Production and Technical areas and reviewing systems with Group Leaders and the Quality department to ensure compliance.
  • Establishing relationships with customers and suppliers to pursue continuous improvement and business growth.
  • Ensuring process optimization using statistical techniques.
Key Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of a National Diploma in Plastics Engineering (preferably a Degree) and at least 4-5 years' experience in the injection molding industry.
  • Very good knowledge of Injection Mold tooling and design, Injection Molding (standard process and Multi component), Processing, Ancillary equipment, and automation systems.
  • Preferable experience in the Medical, Packaging, or technological industries and some knowledge of Real-time monitoring systems.
