Reliability Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the efficient running and continuous improvement of our manufacturing assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, working closely with cross-functional teams and leading a team of technicians.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive reliability engineering strategies for chocolate manufacturing plants.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and assessments to identify potential reliability issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Analyse equipment failure data to identify trends and patterns, and develop strategies to improve equipment reliability.
  • Lead breakdown analysis and root cause analysis investigations to identify underlying causes of equipment failures and develop effective corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with expertise in 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts, Safety and GMP standards.
  • An Engineer with strong financial and business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment, PM (Progressive Maintenance) expertise, Spare parts management, SAP PM module end user knowledge, Technology and Engineering automation basics.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving, and team building.
  • Strong people management skills with ability to drive change.

About the Role:

  • This is a day-based role with a team of maintenance managers covering the site, supported by a central maintenance planner.
  • The production is highly automated from material handling through manufacturing processes to packaging.
  • Engineering experience from corresponding industries is beneficial.
