Highways and Active Travel Project Director

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our Sustainable Infrastructure team in Cork, Dublin or Carlow. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the delivery of complex projects ensuring they meet required timescales, quality and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within budget and to required standards
- Supervise and mentor senior and junior staff within the Sustainable Infrastructure sector
- Prepare technical reports and tender documents
- Plan and manage design work, working closely with Engineering Discipline Leads and Technicians
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and management systems and relevant health and safety legislation
- Coordinate work with other members of the project and Sustainable Infrastructure team
- Manage client relationships and communications for assigned projects
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with Chartered Engineer status
- 12 years post-graduate experience in design and project management of highways, greenway and infrastructure schemes
- Delivery of highway or greenway projects in accordance with TII Project Management Guidelines Phases 0 to 7
- Experience in delivery of design and build projects
- Multidisciplinary design management experience
- Experience engaging with clients, external stakeholders and subconsultants
- Experience in creating and managing budgets
- A high-energy professional with excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills
- Flexible and a good team player
- Works efficiently and on own initiative
- Must be prepared to travel to site visits and client meetings
