This role is part of the Fraud Analytics function in the First Line of Defence (1LoD), focusing on optimizing the performance of the Fraud Screening system.
- The ideal candidate will have foundational understanding of fraud analytics and experience in rule tuning, ideally with Actimize.
- Experience in pre-emptive data analysis, rule threshold reviews, and data trend analysis is also required.
- Liaising with technology teams for updates on Actimize Fraud enhancements is a key responsibility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing governance and delivering insights into rule sets within the Actimize platform, recommending data-driven changes, implementing new rules, and optimizing system efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining rule sets to minimize false positives and false negatives.
- Analyzing data trends to identify potential areas of risk.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Fundamental knowledge of fraud analytics and experience in rule tuning, preferably with Actimize.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
