Clinical Nurse Manager
Job Summary:The Clinical Nurse Manager is a senior nursing leadership role responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and management to a designated area of the hospital. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and managing complex healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional and clinical leadership to nurses, midwives and other healthcare professionals in the designated area
- Develop, implement and evaluate clinical policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of patient care services, including staffing, budgeting and resource allocation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive work environment
- Current registration as a nurse or midwife with the relevant statutory body
- At least 5 years post-registration experience in a senior nursing leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical leadership, management and governance
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
