Care for Adults with Physical Disabilities and Vulnerable Populations
Our client is dedicated to supporting individuals with physical disabilities, autism, and other support needs to live an ordinary life in a community-based environment.
They operate across multiple residential communities and services nationwide, providing unique person-centred care that transforms lives. We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate professionals to join a dedicated team supporting adults towards independent living and community integration.
Requirements:- Hold a minimum of Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or an equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
- Have 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Experience working with challenging behaviours.
- Strong knowledge of legislation protecting vulnerable adults.
- Applicants must hold a full, clean manual driver's license and have the availability of own car.
- An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral levels in relation to Social Care within disability services.
- An ability to follow, evaluate, and contribute to the development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
