Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the charge in securing new business opportunities for our hotel in Cork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue growth: Identify and pursue group business prospects across MICE and leisure segments.
  • Build strong relationships: Develop lasting connections with event planners, corporates, and group organisers.
  • Deliver compelling presentations: Showcase site visits and proposals that win over clients and build long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with Sales & Marketing to exceed revenue targets and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Stay informed: Monitor industry shifts and competitor moves, bringing valuable insights to the table.
  • Ensure exceptional client experiences: Serve as the primary point of contact for groups, guaranteeing seamless and personalised interactions.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in proactive sales roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of finding and winning new business, meeting all sales targets and goals.
  • In-depth understanding of the MICE market and corporate travel.
  • Familiarity with various CRM/Sales platforms.
