Facilities Manager Opportunity

Our esteemed client, a leading healthcare provider in County Dublin, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager.

This is an exceptional opportunity to grow professionally as the company expands and introduces new facilities.

  • Maintain compliance with HIQA standards and relevant legislation, such as the Health Act 2007.
  • Be familiar with the requirements outlined in the Care and Welfare of Residents in Designated Centres for Older People Regulations 2016.
  • Uphold professional integrity in accordance with our client's policies and procedures, employment contract, philosophy of care, and mission statement.

The successful candidate will oversee maintenance staff, manage building systems, implement preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure timely repairs and maintenance of building infrastructure.

Responsibilities include assisting with annual health and safety policy reviews, participating in meetings, conducting weekly walkarounds, maintaining records, and conducting audits as per the plan.

Key responsibilities also include enforcing IT and phone usage policies, ensuring office equipment functionality, managing CCTV systems, overseeing waste disposal and cleanliness, and collaborating with senior teams on facility projects.

Additionally, they will lead the implementation of AI technologies to enhance efficiency, collaborate with internal teams to identify needs, deploy solutions, and train staff on AI tools.

They will also manage team rosters and holiday approvals, conduct staff appraisals, train on fire safety and maintenance policies, and support clinical teams as needed.

As a key member of the facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing excellent service to our clients and stakeholders, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
