
Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong, professional relationships with customers and distributors through effective communication and relationship building.
- Work closely with partners to deliver sales goals and develop project pipelines through CRM systems.
- Manage stock profiling and returns in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and target non-stocking distributors and potential new customers to drive business growth.
- Provide product awareness training for distributor staff and contractors to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Attend industry events and maintain accurate customer records to ensure data integrity.
You will be responsible for maintaining efficient use of selling time and developing effective calling patterns on your customer base.
- Record all visits via CRM systems and complete reports as directed.
- Manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
You will be expected to develop a thorough understanding of our products across brands and ensure that you have applicable product knowledge at all times.
- Continuously update your personal knowledge to stay up-to-date with new products and services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or trade qualification.
- Electrical industry experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
