Job Overview

A skilled Cost Management Professional is required to oversee all project-related expenditures and ensure the delivery of high-quality results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to achieve project objectives.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential cost risks.
  • Conduct regular cost assessments and provide timely reports to project managers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure favorable terms and prices.
  • Manage project budgets and track actual costs against projections.
  • Analyze data to inform cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Possess at least 3 years of post-grad experience in a commercial surveying role.
  • Have expertise in cost value reporting, sub-contract procurement, and contract administration.
  • Be proficient in using various software applications for cost management and analysis.
