Culinary Innovator Wanted

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the development of innovative plant-based food products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating great-tasting plant-based food that focuses on meat alternatives and plant-forward products across retail, food service, and direct-to-consumer channels.

  • Improving the taste profile of existing recipes
  • Developing new on-trend recipes
  • Leading the development of a range of plant-forward ready meals

The ideal candidate will have a passion for plant-based food and be able to learn on the job.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Presenting product ranges at key consumer and trade events globally
  • Writing menus for key customers to support restaurant types such as quick-service restaurants, hotels, and contract catering

This is a sociable daytime role with weekends off. Although NPD experience is highly desirable, we will also seriously consider experienced chefs without NPD experience who are looking to move into this type of role.

About This Role

This role involves developing and launching new plant-based food products, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to market.

As a culinary innovator, you will be responsible for researching trends, analyzing customer feedback, and creating delicious and nutritious products that meet the needs of our customers.

You will work collaboratively with the commercial team to identify opportunities and develop strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.

  • Excellent cooking skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning

Additionally, you will need to be comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
