This role involves assessing vehicle conditions, determining labor and parts costs, and collaborating with technicians, insurance adjusters, and customers to ensure a seamless repair process.
Job DescriptionThe Vehicle Estimator will be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, identifying necessary repairs, and preparing detailed, accurate repair estimates using estimating software. They will communicate with customers regarding damage, repair options, and cost, and coordinate with insurance companies to obtain repair approvals. The estimator will also liaise with parts vendors and technicians to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs, maintain accurate records of estimates, repair orders, and customer communications, and update customers regularly on repair status and timelines.
Requirements- Proven experience as an Autobody Repair Estimator.
- Extensive experience with the Audatex estimating system is essential.
- Familiarity with the Autoflow bodyshop management system is beneficial but not required.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Full clean driving license – Class B.
