Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to oversee an agile team of software developers and quality assurance engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering key aspects of the SaaS platform roadmap.

About the Role
  • The role involves leading and managing a team of software developers and quality engineers to create technical designs in partnership with architecture and lead developers.
  • You will review design tasks for user stories, own non-functional backlog (technical debt, refactoring, upgrades, deployment and rollback strategy), and may play an active development role.
  • The successful candidate will ensure operational delivery and consistency from the team using an agile, data-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance CI/CD and DevOps techniques to increase release frequency and keep the product ship-ready in collaboration with QA and DevOps.
  • Maintain focus on customer-found and internally raised issues to keep a clean backlog of bugs.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality pull requests with good test coverage and automated quality gates.
  • Recruit and grow a high-performing team, ensuring development plans for all team members and use skills development platforms for growth.
  • Own staffing decisions and overall team member performance – coaching, mentoring, disciplinary as needed.
  • Participate in refinement sessions, partner with Product Owner, architecture and DevOps to set achievable, capacity-based roadmaps, interact with Product Owner to understand adoption and usability and with customer-facing teams to understand customer interactions.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with leading agile development teams, agile at scale, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Expertise in C#/.NET technology stack.
  • Solid understanding of plug-in architecture and extensibility.
  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and microservices is an advantage.
  • 1+ years in people management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
