A leading professional services firm is expanding its Outsourcing Department and is seeking an experienced Director to join its senior leadership team in Dublin. This role is central to managing a significant client portfolio, driving business growth, and ensuring delivery of high-quality accounting, advisory, and outsourcing solutions.

Services Provided by the Outsourcing Department:

  • Accounting & Financial Reporting: Bookkeeping, management accounts, and financial statements tailored to client needs.
  • Payroll Services: End-to-end payroll processing, compliance, reporting, and tax filings.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and strategic insights to enhance business performance.
  • CORPORATE SECRETARIAL: Regulatory compliance, filings, board documentation, and statutory record maintenance.
  • Systems Implementation & Support: Advisory and implementation of accounting systems and technology solutions.
  • Business Process Outsourcing (BPO): Streamlining finance and back-office functions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • International Outsourcing: Cross-border outsourcing solutions for multi-national clients, including tax and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Lead a portfolio of key clients, ensuring top-quality service delivery on time and within budget.
  2. Business Development: Identify opportunities, manage tenders, and contribute to business-winning initiatives.
  3. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
  4. Quality Assurance: Provide technical guidance and ensure assignments meet the highest professional standards.
  5. Performance Management: Oversee KPIs, ensuring departmental objectives are achieved.
  6. Strategic Planning: Contribute to departmental strategy and support broader firmwide growth initiatives.
  7. Collaboration: Work with senior leadership across service lines to enhance client offerings and practice performance.

Candidate Profile:

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with significant PQE in practice, ideally from a top 10 environment.

Proven experience at Director or Senior Manager level leading large client portfolios.

Strong technical expertise, including accounting, financial reporting, and advisory.

Demonstrated success in building and maintaining trusted client relationships.

Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and drive new business opportunities.

Advanced skills in report writing, Excel, and financial modelling.
