Job Title:

Business Transformation Lead: Regulatory Change and Compliance


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the review of upstream communications to support Treasury management in implementing enhanced regulatory obligations.
  • Coordinate reviews and updates of key regulatory documents and procedures, such as Order Execution Procedure and Treasury Communication Procedure.
  • Maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the Bank and externally, working collaboratively and constructively.
  • Support planning, prioritization, and execution of enhancements within defined timelines and cost-effectively, working with senior management sponsors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and simplify communications, focusing on continuous enhancement.
  • Embed a strong Wholesale Conduct Risk culture throughout Treasury.
  • Evaluate business readiness activities and amend them as necessary, in line with agreed communication enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience leading teams in Risk, Audit, Regulatory Compliance, or Treasury support roles.
  • Knowledge of EU regulations, including Markets in Financial Instruments Directive/Regulation, Benchmarks Regulation, Central Securities Depositories Regulation, European Market Infrastructure Regulation, Market Abuse Regulation, Anti-Money Laundering Directives, Wire Transfer Regulation, and Wholesale Compliance regulations.
  • Developed relationship management skills for interacting with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies, reviewing customer communications, and possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of change methodologies and experience with change implementation.
  • Relevant professional qualifications are beneficial, such as Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland or Institute of Bankers/Qualified Financial Advisor certifications.
