Person In Charge Job Opportunity

Cpl Healthcare is proud to partner with leading providers of care services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and acquired brain injury. Our goal is to deliver exceptional quality person-centered care in a home-like environment where residents can remain active in their social, religious, and recreational activities and connected to their family and friends.

The role of Person in Charge is based in Fermoy, Cork and the working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

The primary objective of this position is to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to service users and to empower persons with a disability to achieve their short- and long-term goals while developing their independent living skills.

  • A Nursing Degree (registered in the relevant Division of the Live Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or entitled to be so registered)
  • OR A Level 8 Degree in Social Care or CORU registration
  • AND A minimum three year's managerial experience within the Health Sector
  • Hold a recognised Managerial Qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
