**Job Title:** Category Team Leader
As a seasoned professional in category management, you will oversee the strategic planning and execution of procurement strategies for multiple commodities across European manufacturing sites. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen understanding of supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:- Manage regional categories/commodities to ensure efficient supplier qualification and quality
- Develop and execute detailed commodity strategies, including sourcing and negotiations
- Responsible for delivering commodity productivity through price, value analysis (VA), or continuous improvement projects
- Support supplier segmentation, SRM, and quarterly supplier reviews for strategic suppliers
- Ensure creation of supplier profiles for all SRM suppliers and manage continuity of supply
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years procurement sourcing, consulting, buyer, and/or analyst experience
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating skills, assessing vendors, and conflict resolution
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
**Note:** The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating discussions with internal stakeholders and ensuring the delivery of commodity productivity through price, value analysis (VA), and continuous improvement projects.
