Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the SOC, ensuring the delivery of 24x7x365 detection, response, and customer engagement for our services.

The Security Operations Leader will own resolving tactical issues, customer escalations, ensuring accuracy of shift handovers, and ensuring the shift is operating at the desired throughput and execution excellence. This includes attaining SLO metrics, prioritizing shift work, and acting as the escalation point for all Security Analysts and Engineers.

This role requires a technical individual with a desire to lead a highly cohesive team and act as a stand-in for all levels of triage. The ideal candidate will be extremely well organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to effectively drive the assigned team to meet shift goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience working and managing within a Security Operations Center or Network Operations Center.
  • Desire to lead technically minded individual contributors.
  • Passion for Cybersecurity and continually learning new attack vectors, threats, and security framework expertise.
  • Knowledge of industry adopted frameworks and methodologies (MITRE ATT&CK, CIS, NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS).
  • Proven ability to rapidly analyze complex technical security threats and incident information to communicate business-impacting risk to non-technical audiences.
