The Financial Support Services Unit requires a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Specialist to provide technical advice and support to schools on all aspects of financial controls, procedures, cashflow and budget preparation.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical advice and support to schools on financial controls, procedures, cashflow and budget preparation
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and support materials
- Provide online and remote access support and training to individuals and groups
- Proven ability to carry out the role in the Irish language
- Fully qualified Accounting Technician or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience (PQE)
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, including collation of data
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Opportunity to work remotely as a fully remote role
- Access to a PRSA that the employee can contribute to
- Flexible working hours, with occasional requirement to work 11am-7pm
Please note that the current salary scale is subject to change in line with Public Sector Pay agreements. The employer provides access to a PRSA that the employee can contribute to. The position is not part of a public sector pension scheme.
