Job Title: Financial Administrator

Accounting Function Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Athlone, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounts payable processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices for accuracy by reviewing details of billing entity, quantities to goods received notes and prices to purchase orders;
  • Liaise with purchasing manager and site teams and surveyors for necessary approvals of invoices;
  • Reconcile supplier monthly statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies;
  • Process payments following completion of approval and reconciliation process;
  • Employee expense processing: Inputting approved employee expenses on SAP and suggesting payment as part of payment runs;
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve queries and provide updates on account statuses;
  • Audit requests: Respond to supplier requests for audit verifications promptly;
  • Maintain control of supplier accounts addressing credit balances and investigating discrepancies.

Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake any other duties required by your manager that align with your skills.

You will need:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel;
  • Highly motivated and able to work to tight deadlines.
