Swimming Programmes Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team and contribute to the growth of swimming participation across the country.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Swimming Programmes Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality swimming programmes that meet the needs of diverse communities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement swimming programmes in collaboration with local authorities, facility operators, and community groups.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address barriers to swimming participation.
  • Deliver specific lifecycle programmes in swimming to support females to participate at all stages of the lifecycle.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with swimming pool operators, Local Authorities, and Local Sports Partnerships.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme delivery, making recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in sports development or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of local and regional sports structures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated and committed to delivering high-quality programmes.
