Job Title: Assistant Care Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist with care team development, ensuring that clients receive high-quality care that meets their individual needs.
  • Undertake spot checks with healthcare assistants in the community, reviewing client reviews and staff shadowing to ensure that care standards are met.
  • Communicate and participate effectively with the Quality and Compliance team regarding HIQA and Incident Management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local health authorities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Responsible for staff shadowing, ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed.
  • Evaluate and monitor the quality of care delivered to clients, reporting concerns to the Area Manager.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant health or social care background, preferably with 1 year of supervisory experience in Healthcare.
  • Full QQI Level 5 Major award in Healthcare Support and Level 6 in Supervisory Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, with full Clean Driving Licence and Access to Car.
