
Site Safety Manager

This role is a key position within the civil engineering and construction projects across Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and promoting a strong safety culture on-site.
The job involves implementing and monitoring SHEQ policies and procedures across active sites. Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments are also part of the role. In addition, the candidate will support project teams with SHEQ documentation and reporting.

- Promote awareness and training on lifting operations and temporary works
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies as required
- Use digital construction tools and Microsoft Office to maintain accurate records and reports
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar site-based SHEQ Manager role within civil engineering or construction projects, preferably in Ireland
- NEBOSH Diploma or Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (held for 3+ years)
- Demonstrated awareness of lifting operations and temporary works
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel and digital construction platforms
- Clean driving licence – travel to multiple sites is required
- Right to work in the Republic of Ireland is essential
