Event Sales Coordinator

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years' experience in proactive sales within the hospitality industry, preferably within a venue, hotel, or agency setting.

Strong understanding of both sales processes and event operations is essential for success in this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required, as is high-level organisation with excellent planning skills and attention to detail.

A proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, with Delphi experience being an advantage. A diploma-level qualification in Business or Hospitality is preferred.

The successful candidate must hold a full, clean driving licence and be willing to travel between venues. Flexibility to work 5 days over 7, including occasional weekends or evenings, is also required.

The successful candidate will have strong business acumen and be able to drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining CRM systems (Salesforce/Delphi) with up-to-date client and activity records
  • Researching and targeting key market segments to meet monthly sales KPIs
  • Managing leads through the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal, negotiation, and closing
  • Liaising with internal departments and venue teams to ensure seamless event delivery
