Manufacturing Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team. This role involves ensuring products meet quality standards by developing procedures, analyzing data, managing audits, and resolving production issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support new product introductions with R&D and production teams.
  • Manage engineering change notices and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and update manufacturing work instructions and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve technical and quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Oversee sheet metal fabrication and electrical assembly processes to ensure high-quality results.
  • Manage Bills of Material and drive cost-saving initiatives through process improvements.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and external contractors to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Conduct safety audits, attend meetings, and support 5S initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Lead ISO and other regulatory audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collect and analyze quality data for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Address quality issues via Corrective Action Reports to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage supplier returns, credits, and quality KPIs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Host internal quality meetings and prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar position with a strong background in quality assurance.
  • Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (non-FDA preferred) with a focus on quality control.
  • Experience in sheet metal and electrical assembly is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor and Excel with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
