Governance Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting the project leadership team in developing and implementing a robust control framework for the program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing standardised protocols, ensuring they are applied across all contracts, and governance activities across the project lifecycle through to completion on a key infrastructure National project.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strategic national-level intervention for Ireland that will enhance sustainable transportation and the environment by upgrading walking, cycling and bus infrastructure in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, and Waterford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the project leadership team in developing and implementing a robust control framework for the program.
  • Establish standardised protocols, ensuring they are applied across all contracts.
  • Lead governance activities across the project lifecycle through to completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' governance/administration experience on infrastructure/civil or public service projects.
  • Fully proficient in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools.
  • Influencing the improvement of processes and providing guidance to support project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high-quality service delivery.
