Job Title: IT Governance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Governance Specialist to lead our IT asset management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for governing software demand and lifecycle management, maintaining the accuracy of the IT asset catalogue, and overseeing deployment, reclamation, and license fulfillment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Governance, Software Demand, and Lifecycle Management: Lead the governance of software demand and lifecycle management for IT assets.
  • IT Asset Catalogue Accuracy: Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the IT asset catalogue.
  • Deployment, Reclamation, and License Fulfillment: Oversee deployment, reclamation, and license fulfillment of IT assets.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors on SaaS management.
  • Technology Alignment: Align technology with business needs by managing a portfolio of applications.
  • Application Onboarding: Act as a point of contact for application onboarding, governance, and roadmap updates.
  • Contract Renewals: Collaborate with business leaders on contract renewals and optimization strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze performance, identify redundancies, and drive application rationalization.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Asset or Portfolio Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of ITAM principles and lifecycle planning.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, LeanIX, or Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Bonus: Certifications such as CITAM, CSAM, or CHAMP.
