Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Business Partner to join our international payments team.

The role will be focused on building strong relationships, conducting cost analyses, creating budgets and forecasts, and supporting expense levels as well as driving key financial planning processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyse, interpret and deliver timely, accurate financial and activity information within strict deadlines.
  • Work closely with senior management and cost centre managers to maintain the integrity and accuracy of transactions in the general ledger, in accordance with relevant legislation and internal accounting policies.
  • Engage with cost centre managers to understand and deliver commercial information requirements, including cost analytics and variance analysis.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes by engaging with senior management and cost centre managers to understand roadmap plans and resources required to deliver these.
  • Collaborate with supplier management and procurement teams to achieve year-on-year cost savings within the function.
  • Review and approve expenditure requisitions in line with budget, in collaboration with cost centre managers.
  • Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams.
  • Provide support to various finance projects.
  • Other ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

  • Solid academic record and strong quantitative skills (Qualified Financial Professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA or other relevant financial education).
  • 4-5 years prior relevant experience in financial analysis or financial planning and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential to the role.
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
  • Self-starter who is proactive, highly motivated, organised and curious with a desire to drive constant improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others, comfortable in presenting to stakeholders across the business.
  • Ability to focus on multiple tasks while meeting all company deadlines.
  • Ability to resolve issues and propose solutions to issues that arise on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing business environment as the Group expands.
  • Flexible and a genuine team player, willing to go the extra mile to support others.
