About this Role:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Porter to join our team. As a key member of the department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the housekeeping process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Cleanliness and Organisation: Prepare corridor linen trolleys and stock linen stores daily to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organisation throughout the area.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure that linen is stocked in the correct locations, maintaining a high level of attention to detail to guarantee exceptional guest experiences.
  • Remove Soiled Linen and Waste: Remove soiled linen and waste from specific areas to designated disposal points, upholding a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Collect and Return Room Service Trays: Collect and return room service trays from bedrooms and corridors, promoting efficiency and convenience for our guests.
  • Replenish Accommodation Supplies: Replenish accommodation supplies as needed across guest and staff areas, ensuring that everything is available when required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Strong Teamwork Skills: A strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • High Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks, with a keen eye for quality and a commitment to excellence.
  • Prior Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in a housekeeping or hospitality environment, although not essential, would be an asset.
  • Flexible Attitude: A flexible and reliable attitude with a willingness to work weekends and holidays, adapting to changing circumstances with ease.
