Microbiological Quality Assurance Role

This position involves the maintenance and alignment with laboratory documentation and computerized systems data integrity requirements. It also requires an understanding of regulations and business processes necessary to maintain laboratory data integrity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out environmental and microbiological tests as required, defining and updating procedures for the plant relative to microbiological and environmental testing, and completing validation of equipment and test methods for microbiological tests.

Additionally, they will be expected to perform test method transfer of microbiological methods, develop microbiological laboratory procedures, and maintain up-to-date and detailed records of all tests performed.

It is essential that the candidate adheres to and supports all EHS & E standards, procedures, and policies, and completes other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A third-level qualification in microbiology or an equivalent science discipline.
  • A good knowledge of aseptic processes manipulation, experience within a GLP/GMP environment, and familiarity with current EU/FDA/ICH/HPRA guidelines.
  • Lab experience within industry – bioburden, endotoxin, growth promotion, and environmental monitoring.
  • Experience working in a sterile cleanroom environment.
Benefits
  • This role offers a shift premium, with one week of days (07:00-15:30) followed by a week of evening shift (15:00-23:30), with weeks rotating between these two shifts.
Other Information

This contract is initially 12 months with huge potential to extend. The role is 100% onsite and includes a shift.
