SEO Professional Lead

We are seeking an experienced SEO professional to join our team as a lead. The ideal candidate will be passionate about SEO, stay up-to-date with industry trends, and drive clients to achieve best-in-class success.


About the Role
  • This is a leadership position that requires delivering two core outputs: (1) Supporting the Head of SEO across a range of projects; (2) Leading a highly functioning team of multiskilled SEOs.
  • The successful applicant will understand clients' business objectives and translate them into bespoke Owned Media strategies.
  • They will lead teams to deliver innovative and ambitious solutions that meet client objectives and KPIs.
  • Ensuring seamless collaboration between specialist teams to produce exceptional strategies that deliver measurable rewards for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head of SEO to develop executional SEO plans and targets for your own team and clients.
  • Support the Head of SEO in working with specialist teams to deliver innovative, strategic, and commercial products and services that drive client performance.
  • Actively driving innovation by feeding requirements and ideas into the testing framework for SEO.
  • Proactively suggesting new propositions and product executional solutions that keep our SEO ahead of peers.

Requirements
  • An excellent understanding of industry standard SEO tools and their application for client needs.
  • Direct line management experience of a team of SEO Executives and Managers, managing monthly 1:1s and Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPRs), mentoring new team members.
  • Experience managing other SEOs.
  • A high degree of numeracy and literacy.
  • A high level of ability creating and delivering decks to clients.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of seniority.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience in SEO.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients based on trust and delivery of performance.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to write persuasive business documents including new business proposals and campaign summaries.
  • Ability to manage a range of projects at once and consistently deliver high-quality work while supporting your team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strength identifying growth opportunities for the business.
  • Ability to pre-empt problems and be proactive in solving them.
  • Commercial understanding and ability to put together scopes of work and answer client briefs.
