Job Description:

Corporate Development Director

A key leadership role in a corporate setting, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, strategic analysis, due diligence, transaction support, market research, and board interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mergers and Acquisitions Execution: Leading on buy-side and sell-side M&A activity from screening through to completion.
  • Financial Modeling: Building robust financial models to support investment decisions and valuations.
  • Strategic Analysis: Evaluating investment opportunities and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Due Diligence: Managing due diligence processes with external advisors and internal teams.
  • Transaction Support: Supporting deal structuring, negotiations, and legal documentation.
  • Market Research: Conducting market and sector analysis to identify potential targets.
  • Board Interaction: Preparing reports and presentations for board-level consideration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant with Strong M&A Experience
  • 8+ Years' Experience Ideally in a Big 4 Corporate Finance Team at Associate Director or Director Level
  • Strong Financial Modelling Skills and Commercial Acumen
  • Exposure to Both Buy and Sell-Side M&A Projects
