A key role has become available within our organisation, and we are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the position of Strategic Retention Partner.
This is a full-time, permanent contract that offers the successful candidate a challenging and rewarding opportunity to build solid client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business.
The Strategic Retention Partner will work closely with the retention team to determine winning strategies for new clients and identify potential issues that may impact client engagement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Sales, this role will also focus on developing bid proposals to support business expansion and establishing target contracts for further growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and collaborate with relevant teams to maximise potential growth.
- Work closely with Operations and Sales teams to develop account management skills and provide coaching and training as needed.
- Oversee and direct the bid team in the tender process, ensuring client specifications are clear and concise at each stage.
- Develop and maintain accurate relationship matrices for each account and leverage customer data to build actionable plans for improved engagement.
- Develop tailored retention and new business strategies for each client based on contract renewal timing.
- Identify opportunities to renew or extend service offerings and ensure must-have requirements are addressed in client proposals.
- Maintain a clear understanding of critical business issues for all clients and uncover objections during research phases.
- Experience in system development and maintenance.
- Knowledge of the Irish food industry.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite, SAP, Adobe, and CRM databases.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- High self-awareness and proactive approach to personal development.
- Ability to influence and operate at all levels, challenging where necessary.
- Capacity to drive change through effective project and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
