A Key Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of a business, driving revenue growth and ensuring strong customer relationships. In this capacity, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets within assigned accounts.
Key responsibilities include account management, sales strategy creation, market analysis, negotiation, collaboration, reporting, promotional planning, and managing 3rd party field sales teams.
To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of 3+ years' experience in key account management or sales within the FMCG sector, preferably in the grocery market. A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is also required.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for this position.
