Compassionate Care Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking passionate and experienced professionals to join our team in delivering person-centred care that transforms lives. Our services support adults with physical/intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs to live an ordinary life in a community-based environment.

As a compassionate care professional, you will be part of a dynamic team operating across 12 residential communities and 4-day services nationwide. You will have the opportunity to work with adults towards independent living and community integration, making a real difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting adults with complex needs, including those with challenging behaviours.
  • Developing and implementing individualised plans to meet ongoing needs.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
  • Communicating effectively with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or an equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
  • Have 1 year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • Experience working with challenging behaviours.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation protecting vulnerable adults.
  • Hold a full, clean manual driver's license and have the availability of own car.
