Job Description

The primary focus of this role is to provide technical support and expertise in the field of instrumentation. This includes responsibility for site calibration, equipment performance, and regulatory compliance.

This engineer will be responsible for reviewing and implementing reliability monitoring programs, ensuring maximum availability of equipment. Additionally, they will oversee the selection of new capital projects and assess spare parts requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation principles, as well as excellent communication skills. They must be able to work independently and lead teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage the site calibration program.
  • Oversee all aspects of instrumentation equipment installed on site, including RCAi, safety deviations, and equipment upgrades.
  • Work closely with health and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement new site calibration strategies and directives.
  • Provide engineering support to maintenance teams.
  • Ensure maintenance programs are optimized for reliable equipment operation.
  • Provide training to maintenance personnel on new equipment and methods.
  • Follow up on issues identified by equipment owners or maintenance PMs.
Requirements
  • Level 8 degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a maintenance/engineering role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven ability to act independently and use good organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to make good use of systems, procedures, and processes.
  • Familiarity with relevant EU directives and international engineering standards.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and equipment failure investigation.

Personal Considerations
