Construction Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking a skilled Construction Health and Safety Professional to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a full-time permanent position responsible for delivering health and safety advice and support to site-based personnel and others. You will provide guidance and expertise to colleagues, subcontractors, and other third parties. The role involves reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses in an accurate and timely manner and assisting with investigations according to company policies and procedures.

You will also conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments as required, ensuring that management personnel implement appropriate action plans. Additionally, you will review corrective actions arising from incidents, inspections, and audits, and ensure the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures. This includes compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver health and safety advice and support to site-based personnel and others.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to colleagues, subcontractors, and other third parties.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and near misses accurately and in a timely manner, and assist with investigations.
  • Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments as required.
  • Review corrective actions arising from incidents, inspections, and audits.
  • Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and complied with.

Requirements:

We require a qualified individual with relevant H&S qualifications and certifications, experience working with construction/civils contractors, and a good understanding of health and safety legislation. Self-motivation, issue resolution, and team integration skills are essential.

What We Offer:

This is a full-time permanent staff role with great career prospects on Dublin-based projects. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
