Health and Safety Manager Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for providing expert advice, assistance and support to all levels of the organization in relation to health and safety matters.


Key Responsibilities:
  • To promote company values in all dealings with other employees, clients, sub-contractors, and other external contacts.
  • To support and promote the development of a strong health and safety focused culture across the network and promote good safety behaviors.
  • To have extensive knowledge in health and safety legislation and best practice to assist with compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a health and safety capacity in a complex environment, minimum 5 years with 2-3 years in a Senior Leadership position.
  • Health and safety experience within healthcare.
  • Professional certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH (CMIOSH), or equivalent) IOSH qualification.
  • Diploma and other relevant H&S qualifications.Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
