Why You Should Consider This Opportunity:

This role offers a unique chance to participate in a rotational program alongside other HR Solutions Partners, providing exposure to various functions within the organization. You will be involved in managing teams, employee relations, learning & development, HR project management, performance management, engagement, inclusion & diversity, compensation & benefits, and HR operations. As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with the business, serving as a strategic HR Partner to the designated functional leadership team.

  • As a strategic HR advisor, you will provide guidance to all functional leadership.
  • You will serve as a coach and advisor to managers, leaders, and HR partners.
  • Coordinate with other HR functions (HR services, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition) to effectively manage the successful delivery of professional HR support.
  • Strategically execute all HR initiatives, ensure consistent implementation, and provide feedback to project owners.
  • Partner with management to develop and maintain employee relationships to create a respectful working environment for the site/country/region through communication, performance management, and processing grievances and/or disputes.
  • Investigate and advise both management and employees on personnel matters.
  • Investigate and resolve day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management.
  • Interpret and communicate company policies and ensure legal compliance.
  • Investigate and evaluate union complaints or disputes to determine viability.
  • Participate in the recruitment process, discuss staffing needs with line managers, screen applications, and conduct interviews.
  • Assist in career development issues and outline career paths options with line managers.
  • Conduct routine salary administration tasks, providing advice to managers on the wages and salaries of employees.
  • Participate in regional/global project teams to ensure the Ireland HR perspective is not overlooked.
  • Ensure regular review of all country policies, processes, and employee compensation & benefits to keep them aligned with internal and external trends and business needs.
Ideal Background and Skills
  • A Level 8 bachelor's degree or above, or equivalent experience, with a preference for a HR-related major.
  • Demonstratable experience working in a fast-paced work environment with 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR Business Partnering in a similar role and work environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing organization is desirable.
  • Knowledge of applicable local employment laws and practices.
  • Has served as an HR Business Partner or Generalist for organizations with differing business models and complexity, demonstrating ability to provide employee relations, labor relations, works council, and mergers and acquisition support to managers and employees.
  • Has held roles in other HR disciplines (HR Operations/Comp & Benefits/Talent Management), providing vertical and horizontal exposure and experience.
  • Experience working in global or international organizations is preferred.
