Project Manager - Electrical Power Systems

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale data centre construction project in Dublin. The successful candidate will have expertise in electrical power systems, including switchgear and substation installations.

  • The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with the client team, consultant team, and contractors.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on data centre or large-scale industrial projects is essential.
  • Strong understanding of electrical power infrastructure, including HV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, and substation design is required.

Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Leading the delivery of the data centre construction project.
  2. Ensuring progress is maintained and all work is executed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
  3. Coordinating closely with the client team, consultant team, and contractors to manage snagging activities.
  4. Implementing and monitoring key project processes, particularly those related to electrical installations.
  5. Leading and attending key project meetings, providing technical input on electrical systems.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on data centre or large-scale industrial projects.
  • A recognised project management professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related construction discipline.
