In this high-impact role, you will manage and develop a team of Business Development Representatives covering the EMEA market.
Collaborating closely with Sales and cross-functional leaders, you will design and implement strategies to generate pipeline and achieve revenue goals.
What will I be doing?Lead, mentor, and coach a team of outbound Business Development Reps to drive performance and professional growth.Facilitate training and development efforts to boost team proficiency in overcoming objections, refining cold calling strategies, and enhancing product and industry expertise.Collaborate closely with sales executives, enablement, marketing, and operations to shape the future of outbound at Intercom.Utilize a data-focused approach to ensure accurate forecasting, effective team management, and a strong pipeline to support Sales teams.Contribute to the overall vision and strategy of the global Sales Development organization.Optimize sales processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in prospecting, outreach, and follow-up activities.Champion and drive global initiatives within the Sales Development Organization to standardize best practices, enhance collaboration, and optimize performance across all regions.What skills do I need?Minimum 2 years of people management experience.7+ years sales experience.2+ years experience in closing role, with a proven track record of consistently achieving quota.Experience in outbound prospecting.A natural mentor and coach with a focus on developing others.Experience managing complex internal ecosystems and building strong partnerships across teams.Ability to analyze sales metrics, trends, and performance data to identify patterns and insights that drive strategic decisions.Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.Ability to implement change initiatives while maintaining team morale, securing buy-in, and maintaining focus during periods of transformation.Bonus skills & attributesFamiliarity with Salesforce CRM and/or Outreach.Experience in managing sales development teams.Proficiency in English and an additional European language is a plus.BenefitsWe are a well treated bunch, with awesome benefits
