Job Opportunity: Night Manager/Night Porter We are looking for a dedicated and professional individual to join our team as a Night Manager/Night Porter.
This unique role involves working as a Night Manager for part of the week and as a Night Porter for the remaining shifts, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during night-time hours.
Key Responsibilities: As Night Manager: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and staff during the night shift.
Oversee all hotel operations to ensure guest satisfaction, safety, and smooth running of services.
Manage front desk duties, including check-in, check-out, and handling guest inquiries.
Address and resolve guest complaints or issues professionally and efficiently.
Complete financial and administrative tasks accurately, including nightly audits and reporting.
Supervise and support night staff to ensure high performance and adherence to hotel standards.
Respond to maintenance or housekeeping concerns that arise during the night.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
As Night Porter: Assist with setting up and maintaining public areas and meeting rooms as needed.
Provide general porter duties, including handling guest luggage and deliveries.
Support night security by monitoring the premises and ensuring guest safety.
Assist in light cleaning duties and restocking supplies to maintain hotel standards.
Help with any additional tasks to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
Qualifications: Previous experience in a reception or front office role within the hospitality industry is essential.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Proficiency in hotel management software and front desk systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
Prior experience in a night porter role or similar is an advantage but not essential.
