Supply Chain Manager - Manufacturing County Kildare Location: County Kildare Type: Full-Time Permanent Sector: Manufacturing / Engineering Reports to: Operations Director / General Manager Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in County Kildare, is seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise their end-to-end supply chain operations.
This is a key leadership role responsible for procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance-ensuring materials and components are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives * Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management * Manage inventory levels and implement forecasting models to support production planning * Lead logistics and distribution operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery * Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives * Collaborate with production, finance, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations * Implement and maintain ERP systems and supply chain reporting tools * Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies * Identify risks and develop contingency plans to safeguard supply continuity * Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team ??
Requirements: * Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing or engineering environment * Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, logistics, and supplier performance metrics * Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills * Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities * Strong leadership and communication skills ??
